General comment on data set Dataset developed within the ARCADIA project in the context of the Ph.D. of Federica Carollo (Politecnico di Milano). The dataset relates to recycling 1 tonne of mixed construction and demolition (C&D) waste (EWC 17 09 04) in Italy. The dataset is composed of 9-unit processes: 1) avoided the production of natural aggregates (For C1/C2 and C4 use) (Process: Inert natural mix from Lombardy Region); 2) Water consumption for the waste treatment; 3) Diesel consumption for the waste treatment; 4) Steel-manganese alloy for mill jaws spare parts; 5) Transport of ferrous metals to recovery (0.13% are a ferrous waste). 6) Transport of residual waste in landfills; 7) Transport of the Secondary raw materials (SRMs) produced by the recycling plant to the final use; 8) Output of C&D waste that goes to landfill (Process: Mixed C&D waste, landfill); 9) Output of ferrous metals that goes to sorting (Process: Metals, sorting).

Technological representativeness
Technology description including background system The C&D waste treatment in mobile recycling facilities consists of a sequence of physical and mechanical steps, including crushing, metal separation, sieving and manual/mechanical sorting to remove the impurities such as wood, paper, and plastic. Mobile plants are fuelled by diesel and usually involve fewer treatment processes (manual sorting is usually adopted, and waste sieving may be optional). Generally, produce all-in aggregates (e.g., classes 0/63 mm, 0/80 mm, 0/90 mm). Good the Reliability; Very Good the Geographical representativeness; Very Good the Time representativeness; Very Good the Technological representativeness.
