General comment on data set Dataset developed within the ARCADIA project in the context of the Ph.D. of Federica Carollo (Politecnico di Milano). The dataset refers to the selective demolition of 1 m3 of a commercial building with a total volume (empty to full) of 500.000 m3. The dataset is composed of 20-unit processes: Input: 1) Diesel consumption for the machinery used; 2) Electricity consumption for the machinery used; 3) Water consumption for the machinery used; 4) Big bags production for the storage of waste mineral wool (Process: Insulating materials, storage); 5) Transport: Mixed C&D to Landfill; 6) Transport: Iron and Steel to Recycling; 7) Transport: Aluminium to Recycling; 8) Transport: Cables to Recycling; 9) Transport: Gypsum to Recycling; 10) Transport: Wood to Recycling; 11) Transport: Insulating materials to a storage plant; 12) Transport: Insulating materials from the storage plant to landfill; Output: 13) On-site reuse of EWC 17 09 04 - mixed C&D waste (transport = 0) (Process: Mixed C&D waste, on-site reuse); 14) Landfill of EWC 17 09 04 - Mixed C&D waste (Process: Mixed C&D waste, landfill); 15) Landfill of EWC 17 06 04 – Insulating materials; 16) Recycling of EWC 17 02 01 – Wood (Process: Wood, recycling); 17) Recycling of EWC 17 08 02 – Gypsum based construction materials (Process: Gypsum waste recycling, for sludge production); 18) Recycling of EWC 17 04 05 – Iron and Steel (Process: Iron and Steel, recycling); 19) Recycling of EWC 17 04 02 – Aluminium (Process: Aluminium, recycling); 20) Recycling of EWC 17 04 11 - Cables (Process: Cables, recycling).

Technological representativeness
Technology description including background system The demolition work involved the equipment of excavators (with sorting grapple, demolition shears, fixed pulveriser, hydraulic breaker, and electro lifting magnet), mot-fog, forklift, and trucks, implying total electricity, diesel, and water consumption of 0.05 kWh/m3, and 27 MJ/m3, 0.002 kg/m3 respectively. The output consists of the C&D waste stream (EWC 17 09 04), which was reused on-site after adequate treatment and the remaining delivered to a landfill. The insulating materials stream, the wood stream, and the metal stream (composed of iron and steel, aluminium and cables) Good the Reliability; Very Good the Geographical representativeness; Very Good the Time representativeness; Very Good the Technological representativeness.
