Technology description including background system The ornamental stone slab production process includes extraction in the quarry, transported to the manufacturing company and processing in the factory. The production process begins with the extraction the stone block in the quarry using various methods and machinery (explosive, chain saw, diamond wire), then they are squared and transported to the factory where the blocks are cut into slabs and cut to size according to customer requirements. Inventory data have been collected as physical quantities of materials used in the different processes.
